Men's Callaway RAZR Hawk Driver

Rating: 5 out of 5
  • Currently 5.0/5.0

The Callaway Razr Hawk not only features a flashy name and a high price tag, but is also recommended by one of the top golfers of the generation: Ernie Els. At $499, the Razr Hawk is the newest driver from the golfing brand in 2011, is a chief competitor to the TaylorMade R11.

While the Razr does not feature the same white design or big bomber presence as the R11, it is one of the clubs that will help you increase your swing speed and ball distance. As technology continues to outpace courses, clubs like the Razr will help you reach distances you never have before.

This men's club is available in stiff, flex and senior shaft variations, and can be purchased in degrees from eight to 11.5. In addition to shaft and loft, you can also decide the swing orientation of the club. Whether you would provide to slide a draw in right to left, or hit a cut left to right, you could accomplish that with the Razr's different face angles and weight distributions.

Similar in price to new clubs on the market, the Razr is a solid club with an average sized face. Easy to swing because of its club face technology, you can add or remove torque as desired for flexibility and control.

The club features standard Calloway grips, black shaft complexion and any good player will be able to find themselves achieving their max distance with this club. It is suited for accuracy with a large sweet spot, and with an average head size, will allow you to reach distance without sacrificing control. It is a driver for an accurate ball-striker, and works best when you can reach the center of the face everytime. This will undoubtedly leave you long, and working it as smoothly as you ever have.
