Hi,

I have a simple scenario of which I'm not sure which phenomenon/cognitive bias best describes the situation:

Person A cooks food and tells Person B he thinks it's too salty. Person A also tells Person B to try and judge if it really is too salty. Person B tries the food and says "It's too salty..or do I just think that because you told me it was too salty?"

Which cognitive bias/phenomenon would best describe this situation?

Thanks

My taste buds do not think.
My brain does transcribes what I constitute as salty...bitter. ...sour.....sweet...

Power of suggestion may be at play.

It's the ole...does the milk taste sour to you dear?
Hard to mistaken sour odor or taste....

You can preached to me all day saying cilantro taste magnificent. ..and my taste buds will vehemently disagree! Bias? Nope...
Nasty. Yes.
