Hello Psychologists!

There is some information out there about the differences in getting and having a PsyD vs. an EdD vs. a PhD:

And...I also would like to hear from actual Psychologists.

What is your insight, commentary, advice, and expertise on the differences in getting and having a PsyD, vs. an EdD vs. a PhD?

I think you have the right idea, but this is the wrong forum.

What you are looking to is to request an information interview with people in the field to get better feedback. Here is more information about information interviews in general.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Informational_interview

As well as ways to prepare for an information interview.

The place I would look to find people willing to give you an information interview is either people in the field you know or I would contact the alumni organization of the university you did your undergrad degree and ask for a list of grads in each of these areas who might be willing to talk to you. They might be local or you might have to do this via zoom or FaceTime.
