I was cruising the Pellam water way with friends today and we saw the strangest sea creature it appeared to have a long bony neck with rough green skin I just saw the neck my friend saw a fin and what appeared to be a whale like tail I couldn't say how long but it breached several times as we motored down then never to be seen again Has any one seen this before or something like this. Not a joke and no beer was involved Comments please

Well, it doesn't really fit the description but I saw quite a few water snakes swimming around since Debbie. I think they got flushed from their holes...

When I first came down here I swear I saw a seal out there.....still not sure what it was but the mind plays some funny tricks.....

Definately not a gator, long skinny green gnarly snout. I think it must have been a Gar I don't know how big they get but this guy must have been several feet long. All I know is that it was mean and ugly looking and in my canal next to the boat as I made my way along.

Maybe it was an "Alligator Gar". I saw them on TV a couple weeks ago. They were up in the Bayou. I don't know if they are down here. They will take your hand off. You have to kill them before you bring it in the boat.
