This guy jumped up on my moms fence yesterday then jumped down into her yard and walked around a while.

Looks like a panther to me. Any little kids or pets nearby?

Looks like a regular tawny/ yellow alley cat to me. Definitely not a bob cat and way too small to be a panther. .

Bob cats have lightly spotted coats, little bobbed tails, tufted ears and fuzzy faces.
,
Florida panthers weight from 65-150 pounds ( female to large male).

I think what you saw is just a free roaming neighborhood cat.

If that's what it is, it's one HUGE neighborhood cat.

The one we see here in our yard looks EXACTLY like the one pictured. It is not a neighborhood cat by any means.

One of my best memories of FL was coming face-to-face with a Bobcat in a nature preserve in North Palm. I was only about 8' from him. He was just sitting there looking at me. Sitting, he was 38" tall. After about 3 or 4 seconds, he slowly, gracefully bounded over the rail and back into the scrub. I'm a cat lover, so this was very cool for me to see.
