"Best breakfast" is a recurring topic here, so I'm giving a shout out to my latest discovery, the Olympia on the Tamiami Trail access road. Not much to look at from the outside, the inside is very nice, and the 3.99 breakfast special is hard to beat. My only complaints were plain grits (I prefer cheese), and they refused to believe I really wanted my toast burned.

We went to the airport cafe once, and were underwhelmed. The famous Cap'n Crunch French toast didn't taste exactly famous, and the homefries (my litmus test) were poor - frozen diced potatoes done in the deep fryer.
