While waiting out the last few weeks of your house being built, or just finding temporary housing in order to be in FL while the house is being built - where did you find temporary housing. Would you recommend it?

There is a Wyndham in PC timeshare units. I don't know how they are but they should be sufficient for a short stay

I stayed at Country Inn and Suites. It was very clean and looked like it was brand new and had a great breakfast.

Just a tip, a woman was staying for a few weeks and was paying almost 1/2 what I was. She said she used one of the discount sites on the web. I paid and $75 and she paid $40 a night for the same size room.

Ditto. My closing was pushed back a couple weeks and we stayed at Banana Bay. Also stayed there while looking at houses.

We always stay at the Four Points by Sheraton Punta Gorda. It is very convenient and they wrote the book on customer service. It's not too expensive and they discount if you ask them.
