RIP to my dear, sweet, smart cat Toonces.
1994 - 2014
She was a one of a kind - the sweetest personality ever and incredibly smart, could follow commands and followed me around the house like a dog.
She was 20 . . so she had a good long life and was loved by so many, family and friends alike. She will be dearly and sadly missed.
Go chase some mice and birds in heaven, my friend! Until we meet again.

My big boy Yorick used to do that too. Someone once called him a "cat-dog". I sincerely hope that all beloved animals are somewhere waiting for us.

Yes! We called Toonces a cat who thought she was a dog also! She was super smart and intuitive.

I've had two "doogy" cats in my life. I still miss those cats when I think about or tell the stories of their exploits.
Condolences.

Sorry for your loss. A friend of mine labeled my cat, "a dog in a cat suit."

Funny about the timing of this thread's rebirth, since the OP recently reported joyfully in another thread that a successor cat has found them!
