Hi all,
It looks like everything is going as planned and we should be in the Apex area by the end of this month. As stressful as it has been for my wife and I to plan this move I am sure it will as much or maybe even more for my five year old son.I really want him to get involved with as much as I can(and as much as he can handle)
Can any parents out there recommend any good activity programs to get him involved in within the apex area.I was thinking some karate classes,soccer,playgroups,...whatever.I really want him to get comfortable and feel like he belongs before we start doing the same. His happiness is way more important to my wife and I.
Marc

Your wife can join TriangleMommies.com :: Index to get all that info. The options are endless! There is a karate place on Lake Pine - but the name ecscapes me right now. This is a good resource also: Parks and Recreation

Pick up activities brochures for Cary, Apex, HS and Morrisville at the Libraries/Community centers. The Cary one is huge and offers the full range of art classes - drama camps - sports - nature classes.

You will not believe the (reasonably priced) options out there just offered by the various Towns for kids that age.

We have enrolled in a half dozen sports through the various town programs, and other classes through the local YMCAs (gymnastics/swimming) and centers like Dreamsports (Apex) and Netsports (Cary).

Your biggest problem is going to be narrowing down what to do!

Your son will love it here. Playgrounds, bounce houses and kid's museums galore.

Does he start K this Fall?
