Ok, I'll be the first to admit that I'm directionally challenged! A friend of mine that lives in Garner told me that since the Knightdale section of 540 opened, she can get to Triangle Towne Center in half the time. True?

And...hubby had to go from his office in Garner to Smithfield Outlets to return something for me. It took him 25 minutes. I won't vouch for the speed he was going!

I would say that the Crossroads area and Cary Towne Center isn't that bad of a commute from Garner either. Worth a try.

Triangle Towne may be 'better'....but is it closer to Garner? (Personally, there that are unique to each....neither mall 'has it all'.

White oak shopping center is at I-40 and Hwy.70. While it's not a "mall", it has alot of good stores.

I try to stay away from Malls like the plague. That being said when I go it's usually to Crabtree Valley. Very nice mall and I've never had aproblem with parking, even during the busy seasons. The worst mall traffic I've ever been in is at Fair Oaks mall in Northern VA at X-mas time. Talk about a total cluster****.

Southpoint is a real nice mall too if you want to make the longer drive to Durham, but like I said it's still a mall...lol

Kohl's, best buy, Michael's, pier one, BJ's, pet supermarket, Target, Hallmark, Dicks sporting goods, Linen's and things, party store, a videogame trading store, and homegoods? I think homegoods was there, but might have moved, that was a good store.
and a bunch of others that I'm not remembering right now.
