alright, im stumped.

my dad bought a small above ground pool for the kids. something like 12' x 3' (or 4'... i dont know, the box is in the shed, but something like that)

I dont really want to use the well to fill it ( weve never had a problem, but i dont want to 'see what its got' LOL), but im at a loss as to who to call to have it filled or even how much it will cost?

any ideas?

were in franklin county, if that helps.

My sister lived in Youngsville, they had a pool filled about three years ago. They went with a bulk water supplier.
I'll see if I can find the name.

My sister says the company they used is no longer in business - sorry.

She did mention that when they were moved to city water it was significantly cheaper to fill it that way - but if you're on a well, I understand the concern.

Um, totally stupid question...

You can't use a hose? That's how we fill our pool (inground)...I've had pools my whole life and in different countries...just used the hose...is there no hose?

Please educate me (and sorry I posted with no helpful info).

Often folks on a well are concerned about both the pump running for a long period of time and the amount of water available to them.

Water restrictions on public supplies in times of drought is another reason.
