Moving From NYC to Wake Forest - Moving Co Recommendations? (movers, motorhome)

Hello,

I am moving my family to WF in August. Can anyone recommend a good, reasonably priced long distance mover? I have a quote already from a national mover but thought I'd check with anyone on here that went through the moving experience already.

We are planning a move also to WF - soon! I rcvd quotes for a moving co. but I believe I will tough it out and do it myself with a combination of friends and local movers who help unload. We dont have much furniture since we sold a big house and figured we'd start fresh, not knowing room layouts, styling...etc.

We have a 2 week window in which to move out of our rental, which isnt very big, and the rest of our stuff is in storage, so we have some flexibility.

To save over half the $$$ we will try it this way. No kids to move, just our 2 Goldens and we can use our motorhome to fill in any lodging gaps

When we moved for NY we filled 3 PODS and what did not fit was left behind.

We moved from NY in February and used Moovers, Inc. We had heard inter-state moving horror stories and were VERY selective (got 5 in-home estimates). They weren't the least expensive (next least expensive), but were very professional and highly recommended by www.movingscam.com. They have RAVE reviews and now I know why.....they were wonderful!
