Why no Dave & Busters located in Raleigh(or anywhere in the triangle)?

According to their website, they only have 55 locations nationwide. That probably limits their exposure..

I thought that they did have one, but it was closed down. Unless I'm mistaken. It could be another restaurant that I am thinking of.

You might be thinking of Jillian's. Anyways, D&B is highly overrated IMO. You guys aren't missing a thing.

Because it's not 1990 anymore and the Triangle wasn't large enough when their business model was de rigueur. Raleigh had Jillian's and its time has passed.

D&B might be a bit overrated but I don't think the concept is, food, drinks, amusements for adults all in one place. That being said, a more natural urban collection of entertainment and restaurants in glenwood south would be a lot better than any D&B or similar concept.

Didn't we have that with Jillian's? While it was a tad smaller, it was a lot like the D&B's I'd been to. Jillian's was always crowded whenever I went, so I'm not sure why it didn't survive.

I miss Jillians. It used be in Downtown Raleigh at the Warehouse District. They had arcade, pool tables, a dance floor, bars, etc. We used to go there for our company outings.

Closest thing we have now is Frankies near Brier Creek, but that's more laser tag, go kart, arcade, mini-golf.

We need more of these "entertainment centers" here!

I stopped going to Jillians because:

1. there was a cover charge to get in;
2. the wait for a pool table could be long and then got harassed by guys wanting us to hurry up;
3. games were $1 for a play;
4. parking was a pain (back then).
5. food was so-so.

I think the area could support it easily. Just need to find the right location. Either Glenwood south or potentially Northills area could really make it big. Ah well.
