Newsweek is out with its annual list of America's 500 Best High Schools. A number of Triangle area schools make the list:
66 - NC School of Science and Mathematics - Durham
126 - East Chapel Hill High - Chapel Hill
189 - Raleigh Charter - Raleigh
206 - Green Hope - Cary
313 - Green Hope - Cary (not sure why it's on list twice)
356 - Chapel Hill High - Chapel Hill
381 - Durham School of the Arts - Durham
410 - Panther Creek - Cary
421 - Enloe - Raleigh
447 - Apex - Apex
In total there are 21 North Carolina Schools on the list.
