I have Standard Cable with TWC. I do not have a box just straight cable. Up until yesterday, I was able to get WTVD in HD on Channel 11-1 because WRAL, WTVD, FOX and NBC broadcast in HD over channels and newer TV's get those channels with nothign special like a box. Has anyone else found that WTVD is gone? All the others still work but not WTVD.

I would rescan your channels. They probably moved it.

On another WTVD note, their antenna upgrade last week was much appreciated. Their OTA signal is much better now at our house.

I faced this issue quite a few times in the past. But, I was using a TV tuner on windows 7. If you are using a PC, one way to get it back is to manually add the channel number. ABC's channel number is 78.1 (11.1 is just the virtual channel number). If you have your cable directly connected to the TV, rescanning for channels should fix the problem(most of the time).

Yep, rescan here too for TVs not attached to a set top box/DVR.

Regular thing with TW unfortunately.

I've had this problem before but tonight - despite multiple scans, ABC is not showing up.

Anyone else in the same boat?

Yup, re-scanning usually works for me but last night and again today - no joy.

I only pay TW for the 'net so not sure how much support they will give me when I call and ask about TV channels. LOL

Well, I'll call and see what happens.

Thanks!

David

Same here, I've rescanned a few times and had no luck in picking up the new frequency.

11 is the worst. I've rescanned and sometimes it comes back, sometimes it doesn't.

Now we just watch MeTV 90% of the time.
