Well! The holidays are coming and the kids want the new gadgets, lol! so now I need to get rid of some of my old gadgets (ring, necklace) that I've not worn in decades so I was wondering where I could trade this in for $$$ without being rip off.

I know Pawn shops will buy the stuff but not at a good price so any suggestions is greatly appreciated.

The kids and I thank you

Where are you located? (no sense in spending $10 in gas to make $8 more on your gold sales).

The gold buyer on the Varina side of Fuquay Varina gave me a reasonable price on my old high school ring (side note - is there any bigger waste of money than a High School ring? I never wore it past the first few days of college).

My sister and mom sold theirs at Jolly's (North Hills Mall). I went with my sister and I highly recommend them if they are convenient for you.

My sister had previously taken her jewelry to a "traveling" gold buyer, who refused to show her the scale or the price of gold that day (actually they can take the price right to the minute), so she gathered up her things and left - make sure you can see the scale!

Thanks for the info, went to Fine Jewelry since they are nearby and they offer $23 a gram which is decent but decided to keep the items since I paid almost 3 times more 30 years ago. I'll keep them for another rainy day.

Thanks again.
