Question to anyone who lives in Wake Forest -- how does bulk waste pickup work? There were some larger items left at the curb of a home I just purchased -- I was told that a bulk waste pickup had been scheduled. Last week, though, the items were not picked up. I emailed the contact person listed on the Wake Forest website, and scheduled again for this week myself -- and again, the items were not picked up. Am I missing something?!?! It's 2 sliding shower doors, a screen door, and a regular door for a house. The site says items over 75 lbs qualify for bulk waste - these items aren't that heavy -- so what becomes of them?

Thanks!

Oh man. We just put the big stuff out on Tuesday nights and it magically disappears on Wednesdays. We have neighbors across the street that are getting ready to move and they had the street PACKED last night but it's all gone today. Sorry I don't know why they wouldn't have been taken. My neighbors had some HUGE and had to have been heavy book cases out there but they were gone today.

Are you in the city limits of wake forest? Makes a difference. My guess is if no one will pick them up then you would have to take them to the place on 98 that accepts large trash items.

I am in the city limits -- just a block off Main St.
