New to the area and looking for a female doctor for non-pregnancy related maintenance. Ideally an office where I don't have to wait months for a first appointment. We'll be staying near the Streets at Southpoint, so a practice in that area would be great.

Thanks!

Thanks!
Dr. Sheila Allison. She does NO OB work at all. She's right near Southpoint.

Default Recommend Duke OB-GYN at Sutton Station

I recommend the Duke OB-GYN at Sutton Station off of Fayetteville Rd. in the Southpoint area. Specifically, I would recommend Dr. Nancy MacLaurin. She has a very good bedside manner and I have been happy going to her.

ditto to peacefroggie's recommendation! I started going to Dr. Maclaurin about 4 months ago and recently had to have an outpatient procedure done. She was great.

I go to Durham OB-GYN at Sutton Station. I like Dr. MacLaurin but LOVE Dr. Fetko. I also don't care for the male doctors in the practice. I just wouldn't recommend the practice for OB. It's not even their practice that is the problem, but the one they share rotations with at Durham Regional sucks.
