There is a sewage pump station very close of waterford estates being develeloped by Ryan Homes. It is right behind the next phase. We are considering to buy there but little concerned about. Is this a problem or can negatively impact re-sale. Will there be any hazard or smell in air?

I appreciate your input. Thanks.

My husband and I used to live in the apartments across the street and the smell was awful! We used to take walks over in the Estates section when there were only 2 houses there and we could NOT figure out why people would want to live in that smell. Don't be fooled either, the smells comes and goes but when it's there it is awful. In addition, that plan is about 2 miles south of the Durham water treatment facility off 55. That smell also comes down wind. So glad we don't live there anymore.

Thanks FallingH20. I appreciate your comment. I am not sure if city of Cary has any plan to close that plant as Stonewater subdivision is also right behind it.

Can anybody currently living in this area or close-by comment on current conditions. Did the preventive actions taken by the town last year fix anything?

We are looking at Waterford Estates for a home. Although we have driven through the community several times, we haven't noticed anything wrong. But of course, people living closeby would have more information - something we are looking for.

Thanks.
