My family is moving to the Raleigh area in June and I am trying to find a full-day program for my daughter. I need either a summer camp and then a pre-k class in September. Or a school that offers year round care.

I am finding that most preschools only offer half day programs. I am open to a church or secular setting.

I will be working in Raleigh close to Cary (27607 zip), so I would love to have her within a 10-15 minute drive!

Recommendations please.
Thanks.

Basically you are looking for daycare. The only church setting that I know of in the area you are looking is Highland United Methodist Church - their Children's Center. Gets great ratings but often has a long waitlist. Registration opened in February so there may not be any openings left.

Otherwise, you may want to look into something like Bright Horizons, Primrose, Goddard, Montessori. They offer year-round care and have pre-K programs.

I like the Bright Horizons on Harrison Ave (just off I-40) better than the one on Corporate Center Dr. The NC State one is also supposed to be excellent.

Country Day Montessori is a full-time daycare (as opposed to Follow the Child Montessori on Ridge Rd).

I hadn't heard of this one before but it's a 5 star center:
Welcome to Safe Haven Learning Center a 5 Star Preschool, Childcare, Daycare located in Raleigh, NC

Got that information off of this page. Entered the 27607 zip code..you can go enter other nearby zip codes as well.

Hemlock Bluffs in Cary offers a great variety of summer programs for all ages. My kids went there. It may be only M-Th but you can browse through the site. Good luck!
