Hi guys. I might not be in the right place for this question, but will give it a try. We just learned last night that our son's travel team in Raleigh is not going to be able to continue this year. It's late to join another one, but wondered if anyone knows where I should be posing this question to see what might be available.
Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

The News and Observer usually has a column during the week that lists various sports teams looking for certain age or position players. You could also check with the Factory in Wake Forest. They may have something on their website or could direct you to a source. I was at the Factory in February during an umpire training tournament and noticed a couple teams had signs posted on the backstop saying they were looking for players.

Relocating to the area from NY the end of June. Looking for a 13U travel team for my son. 5'8" lefty pitcher/firstbasemen or outfielder. I know its late in the game but if anyone knows of something please let me know.

nctravelbaseball.com is a good resource. The had shut down for a few months but people are slowly trickling back on.

And when you come to the area, any batting cage or instructional facility has "wanted" ads up.

Another option is to peruse ncusssa.org/baseball for the upcoming tounaments and see if the teams have websites where you can contact them.

My son is in North Wake Baseball and they said they were going to discuss summer travel after our game tomorrow night. I don't know anything about it as we just do baseball in the hockey off-season They did mention the summer team tryouts are on the 19th at 2:30 - 4:30 for the 8u's and 1:00 - 2:30 for the 7u's so I would guess around the same time for other ages.
