I must be odd. Cary Park isn't high end. Parts are, but there's such a wide variety out there.

I dunno. Copperleaf reminds me of many other neighborhoods that are new around here. Just bigger, more expensive housing.

Macgregor has been around long enough that many of those homes are far more affordable than they once were. Tear downs, outlying areas that weren't particularly expensive anyway, etc.

Regency area is similar, just with some new construction.

Yanno what sorta reminds me of Truman Show? Twin Lakes. The houses, anyway.

I grew up a "Dupont Brat", we moved around more often than did "Army Brats". N. Carolina was the first place I ever felt "at home".

Looking at the C-D statistics for Cary, as of 2009, Cary is:

73% white
11% Asian
8% Hispanic
7% black
2% other

At home:
78% speak English
7% speak Spanish
15% speak another language

14% are foreign born:
6.5% from Asia
2.8% from Europe
2.7% from Latin America
2% from ?
