I'd consider Apex as well. Camden Lake Pine in Apex is about 5 minutes from WakeMed. Also look at places in the Beaver Creek area of Apex, which is maybe 10 minutes from WakeMed.

I have lived in Brampton Moors for three years now and love it here. I have written numerous posts on this forum about the complex, if you search for Brampton Moors you can find and read them.

We do not have three bedroom apartments here though, so if that is a requirement, it won't work for you. If your kids are same sex and can share a bedroom, you should definitely check it out.

Having worked at WakeMed Cary and kept in touch with the situation there, please understand that turnover rate is rapid. You may get hired to work a certain shift, but for undisclosed reasons they may change the rules so certain shifts are no longer available and everybody suddenly has to work 8-hour shifts. They bring in new staff in significant numbers, and then the latest consulting firm is brought in and positions are eliminated. It must be costing them a fortune to constantly train new people, but on the other hand, few people are there long enough to earn a raise. Very strange place.

Will keep that on mind, but I'm not worried. I only do 12hrs and if that changes there are many more opportunities out there.
