While we're at it... Do that many of you buy subs in grocery stores?

When I was a student at State, I'd buy subs for lunch at the CV Teeter more than I like to admit lol. If there was one walking distance from my office I'm sure I'd still buy subs from them.

Nope. I've tried a few, years ago, and something about a sandwich sitting, pre-made, getting soggy, does not appeal to me.

Harris Teeter makes them to order. If I remember correctly Publix is the same.

I've never bought subs at Harris Teeter but my son has, and he likes them. And if I'm in Harris Teeter at lunch or dinner time, there is always a line for them.

Yeah. Sandwiches sitting around are a last resort.

Interesting. I could eat one that way.

Personally I think they're just as good as Jersey Mike's for a fraction of the price. They also make good breakfast sandwiches!

Lowes has a credit card that gives a flat 5% discount (or special financing), but is not sale-based or restricted to certain items (with a few exceptions like gift cards).

Yeah! The made-to-order ones.

The price has gone up, but you get much more for your $$ then at Subway. At some stores the 6" sub had far more meat (Boar's Head) than you would get on a foot-long Subway sub.
