Ok, with some help we have concluded that the Clayton house is not in an area we would like to be.
My question now is, does anyone know of any rental houses in a good area for $1000 or so? We had looked at a house in NE Raleigh on Jacqueline and if you know the area.. well it's not too decent a location.
We would prefer to rent from an individual instead of feeding the companies a ton of money.
I have a job at WakeMed that I start in Dec. I'd like to be reasonably close to that too
I've been checking out the N & O and craigslist on a daily basis. I haven't found too much luck. I have one place that we're gonna see tomorrow near ten ten rd. & 401 in Cary.
We've looked into apts.. It's just that we've been in apts. for so long... we really want to find a decent house to rent. Someplace good for the eventual children
I know of a couple of relatively new homes for rent in the North Durham area for about $1100 or so. It may be a little further than you are looking but still an option. They are located in a new subdivision with lots of kids and a community park.
I have some friends that live near the DT area of Cary and they really like it. They haven't ever complained of safety or serious crimes in their neighborhood. I believe most of Cary is pretty safe.
You can call the PD for crime statistics if you are curious--they can tell you immediately without the kind of bias that us "non-professionals" might have.
