I'm getting impatient, so I googled, and found that they are now hiring part time people for the Chapel Hill store.

It can't be that much longer!

When the TJs opened in Cary, it was insanely busy! The shelves were stripped bare & people waited in line for half an hour. It took about a month for things to start settling down. I imagine there might be a run on the Chapel Hill store, too, though hopefully not as bad!

Ha, that's what I was thinking as well - I'm either going right as they open, right before they close or not at all for the first month...

Well, my hope is that this store won't be quite as slammed as the one in Cary. Since it isn't the first TJs in the Triangle, the novelty factor is waaaaay down, but it's still eagerly anticipated! No matter what, don't expect to see me there at 5:30pm on a weekday!

So how much longer do you think it will be? 3 weeks? 2 months?

Call me stupid. I am moving in two weeks to the area and this is the first time I heard of them. What makes them so special??? I am moving from a town of 2000 and nothing here to boat load of grocery stores and such. My nearest grocery store is over 8 miles away. Why do I need to check this place out???
