School is back in session so time to pickup with weekly staple.
My parents are coming in from 'Jersey' and looking for some fun stuff to do.... They are mainly coming to see my 2.5 year old and not me (obviously) so anything kid friendly would be preferred...
Last weekend to see Dinosaurs in Motion at the Science Museum. Fun for the whole family. Admission to the museum is free, but you have to pay for the exhibit.
First Friday, VERY kid friendly IMO, if you don't mind being out later with your child.
(This weekend is also Hopscotch, so I anticipate the crowd will be a bit atypical. Perhaps a few extra tattooed and pierced people, but IMO that just adds some flavor. I plan on taking my daughter into town on Friday.

We are getting so excited about Saturday’s The Big Lebowski “The Dude Abides” movie party in the Museum Park! Starting at 6:30 pm, there will be giant lawn bowling, White Russians, food trucks, a costume contest, bowling-inspired nail art by Pintester, and more! The movie begins at 8:30 pm. NCMA
