How classy of you to try to harm the poor dog when you're angry at its owner.
You should be happy people here are only using peanut butter they could be using something more deadly like antifreeze. I believe antifreeze is illegal but peanut butter not! Speaking of which there is a cat that bugs me here, tomorrow I will try to entice it with peanut butter

Just kee your pets to yourself and you would not have to worry about all the peanut butter mixes in people''s yards. I'd be darned if I paid to live here & someone's unwanted pets use my house as a toilet

I had to add my $0.02 - I lived in Chicago during the huge blizzards of '79 that closed O'Hare... Anyway, the snow melt uncovered vast numbers of mounds along the sidewalks - talk about GROSS
My rottie pees on my lawn on the edges or where I need permanent weed removal - we walk up and down the road with the Charlotte Observer newspaper and a bag. While the first 2-3 feet is DOT easement, I still feel guilty as if I'm trespassing... I have had people use that line of reasoning while ignoring my protestations. Maybe I ought to let the rottie off-leash.... Nah.

It is most certainly not "instinct" for dogs to use lawns as bathrooms.

See? That's why I didn't say anything to the woman who, yet again, has her dog go into every single yard on the street to pee or defecate, because I'd bet you anything she knows that here, it's 25 feet from the center of the road into people's property - and that's local jurisdiction.

Back to this woman - tonight. There is a local patrol SUV sitting across the street. I happen to - my bad luck - go outside just as this woman is walking past with her dog. She doesn't speak. She just stares and lets her dog go on everybody's lawn. It isn't that she is non-speaking. She's - I don't know - she kept looking back after she and the dog passed by. This is what she does. Is it a challenge? It seems like a challenge. With the officer there, and the tachycardia setting in because I have been working so hard using what is at hand, and by myself, just to make the front look halfway decent.. frankly - I thought if I said anything, SHE would have called the officer over. This is not the first time. Creepy.

No. That's was the worst story I've seen in quite some time. No conclusion. Did OP talk to the police? Chase down the offender? I waited 7 years for this???!!!!
