I was wondering if anyone knew of any drop-off child care places around the Apex/Cary area that are open on Sunday? I'm not sure why, but every one of them that I've found seems to be closed on Sunday.

More than once, we've gotten all ready to do something and went to Right Time Kids or Just Playin' Around only to see the closed sign.

It's a winery tour and tasting, and even so we are considering taking them. We take our kids to just about everything, but every once in a while it's nice to get some time alone. We don't have family in the area, so it's pretty rare that we get chances like this.

Default Drop in childcare

Magic Kids in CrabTree Mall is open on Sundays, as a matter of fact, 7 days a week during mall hours...

I've taken my daughter there several times and she loves it. The owner is a lovely woman and I feel secure leaving my 5 year old there from time to time.

Enjoy your time without the children for once, without guilt.

ahhh ok

try magic kids like the other poster suggested.

Also (mom to mom ) try networking with some other moms to build up a support system for babysitting- it can be a lifesaver! I dont know how old your kids are, but i LOVE it when my kids are having a sleepover at someones house- cause it means hubby and i can have alone time!

We have no family here either. We have not been on a date since last March. Do NOT feel guilty about not taking them!

I do not know if this is helpful, but sittercity.com is a site where you could search for a babysitter. We don't have family here either, so I know it can be tough.

Not Apex/Cary but not far depending on where you are: GreenKids near Southpoint Mall is open 1-6pm on Sundays, can extend to 8pm if you make a reservation. Enjoy!

I've also had great luck finding local sitters on both care.com and sitter city.com.
