My husband has a nice leather jacket that he loves. The zipper has broken and I need a recommendation for someone in the Cary area to replace the zipper. Any suggestions?

Lee Tailors in Apex, corner of Salem and Hunter. They have fixed a couple of zippers for me, and if they cannot fix them they will find zipper replacements if you wish.

Thanks luv4horses any chance these items were leather? I've had alterations and hemming done at a place in Cary and they did a good job, I didn't know if dealing with leather was a "specialty". It was an expensive jacket so don't want to take any chances.

I took my heavy leather motorcycle jacket to Lee's tailor shop on the ground floor of Southpoint mall. They replaced the zipper last year. It's still working fine, so I give them thumb's up. Took a few days, cost about $40.

pumpkin5, one of the repaired zippers was on a short leather coat. I think the zipper itself was repaired, not replaced.

Not sure if this will help the OP, but even still, if someone searches Zipper Repair, it may help.

Gear Pro: Quick Zipper Fix | Backpacker Magazine

I saw a link to this, and it reminded me of this thread. So I put it here for future use...

OP: Did you get it fixed yet? Results? Recommendations?
