I was thrilled to see the feature on CBS Sunday show yesterday. We love our little stretch of highway on New Light Road in Wake Forest.

Imagine if every highway could be adopted-out? We could really make this place look like it was meant to be . . beautiful.

Please consider adopting a portion of highway . .

And remember . . if you're going to complain or rant on about our litter situation my question is . . so, what are you doing about it?????

NCDOT: Adopt-A-Highway Program

Here is the link for the NCDOT in case you would like to adopt your own highway.
They ask that you do it once a quarter . . they provide vests, bags
once you've picked up the trash you can do all the reporting on-line
