I am looking at various apartments around Six Forks and I came across Woods of North Bend.
I have checked their reviews on apartmentrating.com and apartmentguide.com and as of April of 2013 most of their reviews have been lack luster but they are all from early 2013 and I was wondering if anyone could provide any current reviews on Woods of North Bend?
Lack lustre yep. Depends on your budget. 20 years ago it was populated by young career people. I had a girlfriend that lived there, smoking hot. Like several older complexes it started to decline around the year 2000.
Heck I remember when The Lakes on Sandy Forks was a reasonable place to rent.

It might fit your budget.
What year/s did your GF live there? If it was early 2000's there may have been a lot of changes as the last review was from early last year. From the pictures on their website and Craig's List it seems like a nice place but you never know from pictures. I haven't had a chance to go look but I intend to this week.
The Lakes on Sandy Forks is actually cheaper to rent. How is The Lakes on Sandy Forks compared to Woods of North Hills?
My girlfriend lived there around 1995 - 1997. I drove down Shanda last week. It's not near as nice as it was in the 90's. The Lakes are cheap for a reason.

He's being very kind here--drive by there in the evening and you'll get a glimpse of the sorts who would be your neighbors.
Back to Woods at North Bend, I always thought they looked like very nice apartments, but the only time I've been in one was 30 years ago. I do suspect they've declined in condition and, with it, the quality of the sorts of folks who live there.

I lived in Stonehenge apartments in 2001 and thought it was decent and a great location. You can actually walk to stores etc.
