Can someone explain how this works (WCPSS question)

If my child currently goes to the base school of my previous address will she automatically go into the feeder pattern of said school into middle school or will I have to apply.

Child started at Conn. In 2nd grade we moved to Garner but I kept her enrolled at Conn. Currently the feeder pattern goes Conn to Ligon then Enloe. If I want her to go to Ligon will I have to apply since I no longer live at the address enrolled under?

Yes.

They'll assign her to the base school for your address when she goes from elementary to middle.

you don't automatically get the feeder in Middle, you gobsck to your base.
