Sure doesn't...lol...my husband is in Buffalo and won't be home until Friday BUT we have a very nice teenage boy across the street who always wants to make extra $$ and I will be headed to the ATM for cash to pay him to shovel the driveway!

Buffalo!? Well there's your solution. Those 40lb bags will fit in the overhead compartment just fine.

On a related/similar note, my mom and I were in NYC during Hurricane Andrew in FL - the big one. We didn't know if we'd be coming back to a house or not but we knew supplies were scarce so we - this is no joke- bought a bunch of cases of water and brought those on the airplane as luggage to bring home.

I don't know how I feel about all of this, but I will at least make a snowman and perhaps give in and buy a shovel.
I'm just about to need my backup pants. I don't think we need any more snow, but if we got a pretty one that melted quickly, I would not complain.

He is sick of snow and my 10 year old will be LOVING it if we get the accumulation DT is saying we will. I have been following him for 5-6 years now and I take his word for it. I just hope we don't get a ton of ice. I hated that ice we got. I was stuck until it melted Saturday. Three kids (one of whom disabled) and a hyper Cairn Terrier did not make for good snow days company..haha...they ate every crumb I bought last week. Glad I stocked up today! I'm sure I'll have to reschedule the doctors' appointments we have Thursday and Friday. I just realize that. Ugh.

Here's the problem. The high temperature on Thursday is going to be 39 degrees.

Edit: I should say the projected high temperature for Thursday is 39 degrees.

Or, perhaps it's not.

Ha ha, was just thinking the same thing. They don't run out of rock salt in February in Buffalo!

Snow that the kids can actually play in would be nice. I mean if we're gonna miss a week of snow we may as well get something out of it.
