Since we moved here, we listed our old upholstered sofa/loveseat and it's gone. It lasted through two children growing up.
Our kids are now older and we're looking to buy a nice leather sofa and love seat. I've printed some articles on how to compare leather sofa quality so have some information to prepare myself.
If you've purchased a leather sofa or loveseat recently or in the last few years, where did you purchase it and are you happy with it?
What's your budget? Make a trip to Haverty's on Glenwood avenue. Mixed in with a lot of crappy, old fashion they have some very nice leather and fabric coaches. I remember a 3 and 2 seater pair of pure Italian leather couches that were about $3000. Not bonded leather, this was real leather. For Fabric, you can choose the exact Fabric you like. The couches are made in NC and have a lifetime guarantee for structure.
I've been searching too... from my research the already mention leather & wood furniture gallery is an option, along with Arhaus, Pottery Barn, Ethan Allen, Haverty's all have Top Grain leather. The only company I've found that has Full Grain leather is LLBean, which I bet is made in NC. I've also been interested in the leather furniture Clubfurniture.com has for sale, although they don't have any retailers so you can't sit on the furniture before buying it.

Make sure the leather is full depth. Many items now have a paper thin veneer of leather bonded to cloth. This stuff wears poorly.
Thank you everyone for your input. I checked out Haverty's on Glenwood and Arhaus in Crabtree mall. I have a coffee table and end table from Arhaus from a couple years ago and absolutely love their stuff. Haverty's had a couple of nice leather sofas that I liked and they had nice service.
