Recommendations for a reputable, quality plumber that charges reasonable rates in the Cary area. Garbage disposal clogged. Tried most online advice. Still clogged.

Well, I fixed it myself. So happy and proud. Disattached PVC pipe between disposal and main drain. Cleaned out the gunk and reattached. Done and over. Thanks for all the advice.

Well done! Avoid pouring oil and fats into your drains, even those without disposers. Such materials contribute to forming clogs in your house and also in the municipal sanitary sewer system.

Exactly the reason I don't have a disposer. Don't want one. Everything it scraped and wiped before going in the sink for washing here. I hate to think what some people are sending down the sever system. Sorry, just one of my pet peeves

Well done. I was going to suggest this, since it's a super simple repair
