Was nice to visit Lorikeet Landing @ NC Aquarium. The 50 birds, who jump on you to be hand fed by nectar, will soon be transported south for the winter to their home in Florida. North Carolina Aquariums » North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher

when going to the aquarium, it's an easy exhibit to miss. As you approach the aquarium entrance, look to the right.

Went there and had a HUGE amount of fun! Beautiful birds and very fun interacting. Thanks for sharing!

It's an entertaining experience. Don't be upset when you get "pooped" on, it will happen, but it's mostly water.

Thanks. We had a blast. Cool note:

We started in Southport,NC and bicycled over to the Ferry, which costs only $2 and took us to Ft. Fisher, then biked to the Aquarium nearby, had lunch and rode the ferry back for a fantastic memory.
