Hello!
We are planning to move in Raleigh for december!
I know its not a good time for children to switch for a new school in the middle of the year!

My daughter are in 6 grade in a Magnet Program ( Global Studies)

Can you give me information what is the best thing to do?
Thanks
Boucane

wcpss.net and then go searching for the magnet programs and then find the middle schools (6th through 8th grade) and the one(s) that have global studies. Then call or email those schools and ask if they have any openings in the magnet program.

if you get lucky and they do, then you need to find housing that has the school as a magnet option.

Daniels middle has a global studies program. Applications start in Jan or Feb and you have to already have an address here to apply. You can also move into a home already assigned to that school and as long as it is not capped, your child can attend ( only if you move into the base assigned area). If you move into the magnet/application area, you will have to wait and spoky in January for 2016-2017.
