Just ate here today for lunch. Believe it or not, its a HEALTHY fast food restaurant! Evos in Chapel Hill (Eastgate shopping center) next to Trader Joe's.

We got the steakburgers, air cooked fries and smoothies. VERY GOOD!!! The owner came by and even talked to us for a few minutes, he was very nice and extremely helpful. Try the raspberry tea (very yummy!) and the different types of ketchups they have (garlic, mesquite, cheyenne and regular).

Here's the website:
EVOS

It was nice to eat a burger for a change and not have that "greasy" feeling afterwards.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

We ate there when it first opened, it was okay, our food was cold and we thought it was pricey for what was served. just my opinion. We won't be going back. Same with Noodles & Company on Franklin Street, just okay, but pricey for what was served.

I second that opinion. I had high hopes for both places but was disappointed.

We tried it once but were not too impressed.

I agree, it's a great place. I eat there most of the time I travel through Chapel Hill. They try and incorporate mainstream food with a healthy and tasty twist. McDonalds, look out!

Agreed. Pricey fast food, not what we were looking for. One of the many we scratched off our lists. Maybe we are too picky, but we'd rather cook something decent than waste money on trash. Glad some like it (and it always seems to be full).

Did you think about why it might be more expensive, and why it might actually cost less in the long run?

Overpriced and burgers taste just like the cheapy frozen premade ones in the grocery isle.
Pretty bland and gimmicky I thought, but interesting to try.

Yep. Nothing special. You can get the same thing anywhere else and not have to drive half way across NC to get it. I wouldn't waste my time driving there. If I was in the area for something else and really had to eat, I would choke down some food there.
