Are there any urgent care facilities in Raleigh or Cary that are open until 10PM or later?

Can't think of any but if you need to go to the ER go to the Apex WakeMed there's never anyone there.

She has lousy insurance and can't afford to go to an ER.

I think it's safe to say that there are no urgent care facilities in this area open after 8PM. With a trip to the ER costing a minimum of $2500, that's sad.

What's sad is what's happened to hard working people's health insurance in the past 10 years.

It's been happening a lot longer than 10 years. The problem (nor the cure) is not something that has happened recently. The problem is that long ago, Washington sold us out as a country to the highest bidder. The feeble attempt to fix it is really just too little, too late. Mostly too late though....

Prior to 5 years ago, I only ever paid copays. Not once did I pay anything out of pocket, except a copay.

Now I have a $3000 deductible and something like a $12k/yr out of pocket max. About the same monthly premium.

Maybe my case is rare, but I've heard the same from others. So yes, for me personally this has happened recently.

There is an Urgent Care facility in Raleigh which is open 24/7/365.
However it is for animals, not humans.
Gotta wonder why (in this respect) we treat our pets better than ourselves.

I remember when a $150 annual deductible seemed completely outrageous

Accent Urgent Care is open until 9:30 or 10:00 pm. Their services have always been superior and I have used them for years. They have more than one location around the Triangle.
