Tell us what you did to have your car end up in the ditch last night. No braking on ice ain nice but if you swerved to avoid a deer let us know.

I stayed home last night except for a Harris Teeter trip, but indeed would have swerved to avoid a deer and likely could have ended up in a ditch.

Never swerve! Hit the deer and its an act of god. Run into the ditch because you swerved and missed the deer is a bigger hit on your insurance.

Another cool way to get into a ditch is to mess up the scandanavian flick and understeer your drift.

While teaching them to drive, I have had to tell more than one of my kids "Don't you dare kill me to save a squirrel!"
