I went down into my crawlsapce this afternoon and I happen to find white powdery efflorescence/calcium deposits in several areas of the foundation walls. The house is only 2 years old. Is it something I have to worry about? I am not sure how long the calcium deposits have been there.

Is the efflorescence present in all directions or just one direction?

It is in severel directions. There are several spots on the front walls, the back walls (, and also on the side walls of the foundation.

The spots only show that there's been moisture in the past, which may/may not be a problem, now. Multiple spots can point to improper lot drainage. Is there a problem with standing water anywhere in your crawlspace? You want to note the source of the moisture and ensure that it's not a continued problem.

There is mulch at the foundation in the front of the house. But the calcium deposits are located in the walls where the is mulch, but also in other areas where there is no mulch. After rain, there is water in the crawlspace also.
