Does anyone know of a place that will take 3-ring binders? We are clearing out an office and don't want to put them in the landfill. Thanks~

Community Worx in Carrboro takes them. Chatham County PTA also, but they are a small store and am not sure how many you have. If you ever find yourself going to the landfill with usable items, there is a shed where you can leave things for other people to take. That's always my last resort because if they get to full, they will dump the stuff at the end of the day. There is always Scrap Exchange in Durham that might take them.

Raleigh used to do that but they stopped because I think people were fighting over stuff. I took some brake rotors there once and the attendant asked me what I had. Then he said bring it right over here and he took me to his van parked nearby that was slam full of stuff. It was scrap to me so I didn't care if he made a few bucks from selling the scrap metal.
