Hi!

Does anybody have recent, personal experience with any dance studios in Raleigh? Preferably with a variety of dance styles and competitive company options. I am looking into it for my 12 year old daughter. Would love info on the atmosphere, quality of technical instruction, environment, staff, overall feel of the place etc..

Thank you for any insight you can provide!!

Many of my friends have their daughters at ccdance&co which is off Strickland Road I believe. They all rave about it but I don't know much more than that since we haven't personally used them. Would love to get our son in some classes but we're already over-scheduled so it hasn't panned out yet.

We use Stage Door Dance and have been pleased. They have two locations - Brier Creek and Lake Boone Trail. We go to the BC location and the staff is super nice and accommodating (communication has been GREAT). The waiting area is pretty small and can get crowded, but they have small monitors you can watch each class on, which is nice. I've heard great things about Carolina Dance Co (off Leesville) and CC&Co (off Six Forks & Strickland). I don't think you can really go wrong with any of these, I would pick based on location and class offerings that best fit your schedule and interests.
