The smoke in the region is from a 300 acre controlled burn in Chatham co.

The one near Cisco sounds suspicious.

At around 12:50 pm today a small fire was noticed near the lake by RTP 7, 8 & 9. The fire department was notified and responded within minutes. The fire was quickly extinguished along with another small fire that had started nearby. Law enforcement was contacted and is investigating the root cause of the fire along with the Fire Marshall.

Maybe the Town of Cary discovered someone painted their house a non-beige color and burned it to the ground.

Or the new pizza place burned another crust. (Rolled eyes directed at all the people who complained about charred crust from a wood-fired oven, it's supposed to be that way.)
