Raleigh police officers will be participating in a “Cops-on-Top” event at the Duck Donuts location (8323 Creedmoor Road) on Saturday, May 6th from 6am-7pm. Officers will be stationed on the roof throughout the day and will be accepting donations for the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics. One free donut with a donation of $1 or more! Shirts and hats will also be on sale along with appearances from McGruff the Crime Dog. The Raleigh Police Bomb Squad and Raleigh Fire Department will also be bringing equipment out to the event. All proceeds go directly to Special Olympics.
