Surprised Weinbrecht wrote that. Everything until now has been speculation and rumor, but he confirmed it (even without saying the exact name). IKEA won't be happy.

I'm going to laugh hysterically if it ends up being a Walmart SuperCenter.

On a serious note though, despite everything pointing toward IKEA, we should perhaps be a slight bit reserved and not make assumptions.

As a Cary resident who would love to see an IKEA, I'm disappointed in the mayor. Why not keep this confidential, like the company asked, for a while longer?
