Has anyone used a marble quartz hybrid slab for counters? We're looking at one and Im curious if they function more like marble or quartz. Do they stain or etch easily?

Someone recently recommended Carrara Quartz on a FB group I’m in. They said it has a similar look to marble but the durability of quartz.

Having just installed marble, I’m certain that we will use quartz in our kitchen. Marble is beautiful but it’s way too finicky.

Marble is way expensive and a lot of upkeep. You can get quartz for a lot less money (though more expensive than granite) that looks a lot like marble, but is much easier to maintain. It's even easier to maintain than granite is. Do a search for LG Minuet Quartz to get an idea.
