I'm looking for online sources to post for a sublet or house sitting for this summer and perhaps longer.
We currently live about 2 hours away. I'm looking for something just this summer because I'd like my kids to attend CH camps and summer sports practices so they can get to know other kids, but I'm just getting my current house on the market now so don't think it will be sold or rented when the camps start in June.
It is just me and my 2 daughters, who are late elementary and high school ages who have been taught to be respectful of things, especially things that aren't theirs. They will be at camps most of the summer, and they are involved in lots of activities during the school year. We do no have any pets (our beloved and elderly cat died this spring), but would be open to caring for a cat. I renovate houses as a hobby so I'm good at maintaining a house (keeping indoor plants alive, yards looking presentable, basic home maintenance, etc.) as well as watching for and addressing any problems.
I'm also open to something that extends into the fall, or for possibly renting for 6-12 months. We can live anywhere for the summer, but need to live in the Carrboro Elementary/CHHS zones if we are in a place longer term.
If you have a potential rental starting in August in the above school zone, let me know.
