(Past) time for the ubiquitous Thanksgiving thread. Decent buffets this year? I know of Chef's Palette and Angus Barn. (I don't count Golden Corral or a cafeteria as decent buffets.) Others?

We're heading back to The Mayton Inn this year for their buffet. The food was awesome and they had everything you could want on your Thanksgiving plate. It's not the cheapest ($55/pp iirc) but it was totally worth it. We'll be there just after lunch, head home for a power nap, and still have time for some evening snacks and card games with family.

Couple years ago (last year?) my daughter and I did Kabab-ish in Cary. It was very good. (Non-traditional but good)

We just booked a reservation at the Mayton Inn. This year it is $65 per person but the menu looks amazing and Im so happy not to have to cook and clean up after.

I recommend Mayton Inn. We did it last year. The atmosphere and the quality of the buffet make it worth the $65, in my opinion.

Ie done Angus Barn a couple times for thanksgiving. You will be happy. I think its worth the money but I do miss not having leftovers.

On another note, how are you not using an ad blocker? I find that amazing so many people dont use them.

WRAL doesn't like my Ad Blocker and blocks out the page. Changing my news link to abc11.com almost took me 45 seconds.
